I teach and assess Early Years courses from level 2- 5, teaching assistant qualifications and teacher and assessor training courses, primarily working with apprentices and distance learners. I offer consulting services to Primary and Early Years educators in all different settings. I also offer help, advice and support to expectant and new parents on all aspect of care and development of their children and deliver tailored INSET days to nurseries and primary schools. I also review course material and listed as an End Point Assessor for several organisations. I have written course materials for The Skills Network, OCN and NCFE too, alongside reviewing existing course materials they offer.I have a very long standing passion for good quality Early Years care starting from the very beginning of life. I have supported many families (including many nervous dads) with varying needs. I strongly believe in finding what works for the family and not forcing any views upon them. I have a passion for distance learning and I believe the future will bring more need for different distance learning opportunities at different levels. I have been studying distance learning myself and have been delivering a large amount of the curriculum in different courses through different platforms too. On top of offering the help for individual families I also teach other professionals how to do the same. I consult schools, nurseries and pre-schools on the effective implementation of the curriculum and offer support in special educational needs and exploratory play.I am a school governor (Early Years and SEND Governor), therefore have the opportunity to see the issues schools face from a different angle too, which allow me to support them even better.I really enjoy completing further research, I have participated in a number of high profile studies as well as completed a few of my own.
