I am an assertive, strategic thinker with a passion for ensuring that clients have a positive experience and receive the desired outcome. Over the past 5 years, i have worked on a range of successful small and large scale projects, including redesign of a central referral system, enabling improved access and delivery of a more efficient service to clients. My current role has enabled me to be part of the vaccination programme, working closely with colleagues in Public Health and Pharmacy team, in identifying areas of low uptake and leading on the implementation of the roving clinics. This requires effective decision making, creative thinking and risk management to ensure clinical delivery isn’t compromised. Supporting the quality and performance agenda has meant introducing a culture of learning and change. Developing action plans to identify areas of improvement and identifying steps needed to rectify. My previous role as a business and project manager has provided me with a level of understanding around what makes a good support service with a focus on reducing bureaucracy and increasing clinical activity. I currently have responsibility for a team of 12 and a budget of £350,000. I have a range of experiences in developing a resilient workforce and supporting staff to achieve their full potential. I am a good communicator and have excellent interpersonal skills which allow me to work with a wide range of people from different backgrounds.Im exceptionally organised which allows me to effectively plan my workload and work autonomously. As a manager I encourage teams to have an open healthy debate, to act as a critical friend to each other and a support network.
