Since 2021 Viktorien van Hulst has been the General Director of the Performing Arts Fund NL: the cultural fund for music, music theatre, dance and theatre in the Netherlands. On behalf of the Dutch government the Fund supports all kinds of professional performing arts.Before, she used to be the Director of Theaterfestival Boulevard, taking full artistic and business responsibility for the performing arts festival in ’s-Hertogenbosch. In addition, she headed the Bosse Nova foundation.Viktorien studied Theatre, Film and Television Studies at Utrecht University. She complemented her education with a course in Arts Policy and Management. After graduating she went on to work with Productiehuis Brabant and Festival Cement, promoting talent development for young performing artists. From 2009 – 2015 she was Head of the Artistic Department at Toneelgroep Amsterdam.
