I‘ve worn many hats during my rewarding and eventful career, but it’s finally come fullcircle. Let me briefly tell you where I come from and why I’m now seeking excellence infurniture design.Being the daughter of a carpenter, my formative years were spent in my father’sworkshop. Covered in wood shavings and sawdust, I watched him make incrediblethings for other people, which I knew would become an always-present fixture in theirhomes and in their lives.My heart has remained in that workshop ever since.After finishing my International Business studies, I became a finance team lead at aGerman multinational (Festo) at the age of 23, and then spent 6 years in Germanyworking for Mercedes Benz in finance and controlling. The planning, scheduling, andmanagerial skills I gained during this period are now tremendously helpful in my currentbusiness venture – Margas Genys.At Margas Genys – a non-standard furniture production company established back in2019 – I get to follow my life-long passion by taking on a whole set of responsibilities,from consultation and working with interior designers and architects to product designand manufacture.We are currently looking for partners who’d be interested in marketing one of our latestmarvels – OTIS – in their respective countries.
