Profile bio

About Viktorija Petunova

I am incredibly interested in Music Business and Management, hence, why I am a 3rd year studying this course at the University for the Creative Arts. I have begun gaining experience in the field by organising a small gig in Epsom, England, which was attended by around 50 people.I am currently looking for a yearlong placement in the music business industry, starting from June 2024 onwards. I am a reliable, motivated, and task-orientated individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, with a passion for self-improvement and development. I am highly equipped with experience in delegating tasks and motivating a team to work together to their best ability. I have a successful track record of resolving issues in a time-sensitive and high-pressure environment. I believe that I am great at essay writing, which can be backed up by the fact that I received 3rd prize in the UCD School of Sociological Association of Ireland's 'Young Sociologist of the Year' Essay Competition.

Arts, Culture & Heritage Progamme Assistant

Current

Epsom, England, United Kingdom

As part of my Music Business & Management degree I have begun my Year in Placement, at the Epsom and Ewell Borough Council. I work within the Housing and Community Services team as an Arts, Culture & Heritage Programme Assistant. -I have successfully used Canva to create an elaborate Benchmarking Report which I was then able to present in front of various other teams within the council. -I learned how to use the Bloomberg Connects interface and am in the process of putting together a walking tour of the Horton Country Park, with a focus on the history of the Horton Light Railway. Within that I gained the skills of writing alt photo descriptions, learned a lot of information about trains and locomotives and discovered a local nature reserve in my area. -I had the pleasure of working with external stakeholders from Positive Arts on a community led mural, based on the Important Women of Epsom, such as Emily Davison and Dame Laura Knight. I had the opportunity to work with young kids from the Girlguiding Epsom Division, to leave our mark of spray paint on the mural.

Ticket Scanner

London Area, United Kingdom

I volunteered as a Ticket Scanner at Finsbury Park and Gunnersbury Park for 5 festival events, including Tom Grennan, Hozier, Peggy Gou, Korn and PJ Harvey. I quickly gained the knowledge to help people with any technical issues that they were experiencing, such as trouble logging in, connectivity issues, and inability to locate the appropriate ticket. I showed patience and understanding whilst dealing with individuals of all ages, and experience. I provided exceptional customer service through greeting each attendee, scanning their tickets, answering questions about set times, ticket availability and policies, and resolving minor issues. I verified authenticity of each ticket and scanned the bar-codes on admission tickets. I scanned guest/VIP tickets and directed them to appropriate location based on their ticket type.

Music Business & Management

Freelance

Epsom, England, United Kingdom

As part of my Music Business and Management degree project, on Live Music, myself and a couple other students in my class organised a gig for a band called Don't Wake The Neighbours.I got in contact with Faraday, Epsom, which is the venue where the event was going to be held, as well as going for meetings to check out their sound system and to decide the logistics of the gig.I communicated with the band to ensure that they were free on the date that I had in mind, as well as asking members of the band what equipment they would need for the event. The other members in my group, made sure to hire out the necessary equipment, such as microphones, microphone stands, drums and amplifiers, and then we transported them to the venue, and set those up. We carried out a soundcheck the morning of the event, ensuring that the sound was clear and everything was working fine. In the days leading up to the gig, I designed a poster, which then was printed and distributed around university, to nearby student accommodation and even to some cafes in the area. We posted the poster on our Instagram stories and even got a mass email sent out to the student body.I also set up an Eventbrite page for the event, and made sure that the QR code was attached to the poster too, so that people could easily and quickly purchase their tickets.I also designed and ordered a batch of wristbands, which were then handed out during the gig, to add to the concert atmosphere. Around 50 people attended the event.
