As a reading tutor at Morgan Elementary school, I was responsible for helping lower level readers improve their reading skills.I created games and exercises based on current curriculum, conducted one-on-one learning opportunities, and worked with small groups. My responsibilities also included clerical assistance as well as administering reading tests. Test scores at the end of the year showed a marked improvement over previous years.

Burton Elementary

As a resource tutor at Burton Elementary I worked with children that had learning disabilities and helped them to improve their skills in reading, math, and English. I also corrected papers and figured grades and reading scores.

Hair Max is a full-service salon and beauty supply. My responsibilities included booking appointments, product sales, stocking shelves, unpacking orders, arranging displays, and answering customer questions about products. I regularly did research on the products we carried so that I could be more informed on the products and better able to answer customer inquiries.

As the Office Manager at Colonial Woods Trailer Park I was required to handle all the tasks for that office. I was responsible for rent collections, trailer sales, basic bookkeeping, tracking rents with an Excel spreadsheet, resolving tenant disputes, answering phones, inspections, scheduling maintenance and repairs, managing tenant files, collecting late payments, and posting eviction notices.
