Finance Consultant For Trans-Boundary Projects
Current• In collaboration with WWF finance staff in Greater Mekong Countries (Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, GMP Regional Unit), WWF Donors( Austria, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland.,etc) and other Donors, the Finance Consultant is responsible for the full spectrum of budgeting, accounting, reporting, cash flow, financial management of the projects in charge of which main projects are CarBi, EC FLEGT, Rattan. And, the regional project in Laos which is managed by regional staff based in Laos;• Work as member of regional finance based in Laos to support regional staff based in Laos, and to support WWF Laos’s finance team in capacity building;• Prepares financial reports for Carbi, EC FLEGT and Rattan Projects, and regional project in Laos managed by regional staff based in Laos on a quarterly basis and ad hoc basis to the Project Director and Component Leaders, Project Manager, and Budget holder; • Submits financial reports to donor in time according to the agreed timeline. This includes but not limited to regular analysis of project financial performance and progress, and ensuring that all other financial information required by donors are submitted promptly;• Keeps concerned Project Director, Component Leader, Project Manager, budget holder , Regional Finance Manager and Finance Director advised on any important and pressing issues from the budget and financial management aspect with recommended solutions;• Maintains regular communication with related GMPO staff and donors on project’s finance issues. • Working relationship with the internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and cooperation with their requirements
