Inside Withings, a young and dynamic company in the IoT and connected health, I oversee all the activities related to Withings servers and data: infrastructure development and operations, database architecture, web backend and frontend development, datascience and algorithms. I take part in defining the architecture of the Withings system and cloud software, in developing our webservices, web apps and internal tools, and in designing the signal processing and machine learning algorithms for our products and services (either embedded or cloud-based).As head of the Platform team, I am responsible for setting up efficient methods in an innovative environment, managing the resources and priorities, and developing the team (from 4 members in 2013, to 25+ in 2017, with sysadmin/devops, database architects, web developers, datascientists, signal processing engineers).In 2014, I create the Datascience group inside the team, with the objective to carry out innovative projects that exploits Withings data, through advanced statistical and machine learning methods, to provide new functionalities to Withings' users, as well as to improve existing products and services (from factories to customer support). Several patents have been registered since then.All along these years, I have worked closely with the Legal team and Privacy Officer to define and implement appropriate procedures regarding the various uses of Withings data. We write and maintain together the procedures and technical documents for the HIPAA compliance.In 2016, I hire a Security Engineer to take care of all the security aspects of the Withings products and systems (embedded, mobile, cloud, with all their interactions).

Withings is a young company that designs, develops, and industrializes connected objects, as well as the associated network platform and software applications.I am in charge of the internal data analyses: - measure product usage - define users segmentation - monitor the installed devicesI participate in designing the architecture and software of our Platform and Services (database, webservices, internal tools): - BI dashboard: define KPIs with Marketing and Sales teams, automate their computation, develop a dedicated web app for their visualization - CRM tool (internal tool for massive multi-channel campaigns towards Withings users, based on various dynamic criteria - product owned, date of last product use, age, etc.): define its functionalities, define its architecture, supervise its development
