1. Parts Inventory Management and Parts Availability: • Set up and manage the stock replenishment system and the purchasing processes to enable targeted parts availability at each location.• Maintain parts stocks at appropriate levels to ensure targeted parts stock turn• Ensure proper availability of stock for newly introduced models.• Expedite supply of parts that are back-ordered by the principals • Ensure that parts that are ordered against customer’s orders are supplied within the agreed time2. Parts pricing: • Set up appropriate retail prices in the system• Obtain market feedback from the sales associates on parts prices, analyze the prices, recommend revision of prices when needed and, if required, obtain suitable price support from principals to enable price competitiveness.3. Parts Marketing: • Initiate and direct the marketing activities and sales campaigns. 4. Logistics:• Develop and use cost effective means of transport- express, air-consolidation, sea freight etc., identify & use logistics service providers giving competitive rates and consolidate customer orders appropriately, so that the import costs are maintained within the targets5. Master Data:• Maintain Article Master data in the computer system.6. Technical Support:• Provide solutions for technical issues reported by sales associates on parts, by suitable interaction with the principals and FAMCO Service Support.• Provide support to the sales associates for any requirements from the principals like parts catalogues, user access to their web portals, training etc.
