I joined the team of James Jones and Sons Ltd. in September 2023 as Group Management Accountant, providing support to the Group Financial Controller and Finance Director, primarily in Month, Quarter and Year end procedures overseeing month end reporting, managing sales ledger and purchase ledger. Whilst also providing assistance to the transactional finance team as required Previously working within the legal sector at Balfour + Manson LLP, as Management Accountant. Working directly with the Finance Director to provide support in successfully meeting the diverse requirements of the finance function, primarily in Month and Year end procedures, whilst also being lead contact for accounts payable. As part of my role, I was also tasked with the implementation of Process Manuals regarding the finance functions, including implementing a new Practice Management System. Prior to that I developed my career in finance working for Falkirk Football and Athletic Club Ltd, during which time I progressed to the position of Finance Manager. Whilst at Falkirk FC I was also part of the team arranging successful concerts and events.Over 10 years valuable experience in all aspects of Finance and Administration, working within fast paced, continually evolving environments I take pride in ensuring work is carried out to the highest of standards, diligent, whilst also having the ability to adapt to change and grasp new concepts and ideas quickly in order to support my work place to help achieve its objectives assisting to ensure the ongoing success of the business.
