For over 25 years, my mission has been to bring technology to the world of finance, so that nothing would stand in the way of building human-centric financial services.On this journey, I have founded and led two companies - financial technology firm Icefire (acquired by Checkout.com in 2021), which successfully transformed more than 15 banks and financial institutions and is responsible for the infrastructure of the Estonian tax system, and a core banking platform provider Tuum. I have worked with many clients and partners from very different organisations from institutional banks to governments to startups. In these years I have learnt that for a tech company to succeed, world-class technology is of course a must. However, what makes it or brakes it for many companies is how successful they are in building strong teams and company culture. Currently, I m studying Gestalt therapy and practice with a focus on executive leadership and building successful teams.
