Quality Assurance Engineer
Current- Manage and track the day-to-day performance of the project QA team.- Plan the work and priorities for the QA team, distributing tasks between team members.- Keep track of and report overall project QA status to the project team.- Experience with working in accordance with Agile methodology (Scrum) and Waterfall.- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC & Defect Life Cycle processes in Web-based applications on different domains.- Experience in RQ’s analysis i.e., business, functional requirements, technical specifications, and other requirements-related documents & Gap Analysis.- Participate in identifying and managing testing-related risks on assigned projects and inform project leads of potential shifts and risks related to the project.- Participate in developing an overall testing approach, and create Test Plans & Test Strategies.- Perform QA effort/Provide input for estimates (HLE, LLE & CR estimation) of whole project from the testing perspective.- Hands-on experience in the preparation of Test Cases, Requirement Traceability Matrix & Test Reports.- Experience in Creating, reviewing, approving & executing test cases defined within the project to ensure the full requirements coverage.- Hands-on experience with all levels of testing i.e., Functional, Design/UI, Smoke, Regression, Component, Integration, Third-Party Integration, System Testing, and UAT in SFDX application (i.e., SFCC eCommerce Solution).- Good hands-on experience in defect management, creating, reviewing, and approving bug reports in bug tracking systems, and performing the fixed bugs verification. - Oversee all aspects of QA (incl. project QA-related metrics & analysis).- Actively participate in sprint planning, estimation, daily project stand-up meetings & brainstorming activities related to the project issues.- Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA (Zephyr for JIRA), Confluence, HP-ALM & Bugzilla.- Experience in driving & handling client calls, also delivering client walkthroughs.
