Over 17 years Risk Engineering and Insurance experience in both my former company, Zurich Insurance Company and in my current company, Aon UK Limited. I now concentrate on Offshore Construction and Decommissioning Projects, working across the Aon global network to provide Aon clients, both Independent and National Oil Companies, with a ‘cradle to grave’ service, from risk engineering, client management and broking.I have:- prepared ITT/ RFP tender documents- prepared Underwriting Information Reports for CAR projects by facilitating the collection and translation of complex and detailed engineering information into a concise Underwriting Report to aid Insurers in their understanding of the Project- analysed Project CAPEX values to determine non-insurable and non-recurring costs to derive Insurable Values and Project Estimated Maximum Losses to help derive programme structures- designed and placed offshore Construction Projects, some with challenging vertical limits. Insurances placed include: CAR - Physical Damage/ Liabilities; Delay in Start-Up; Operator Extra Expense- drafted and negotiated policy wordings, clauses and endorsements to meet Project scope requirements - advised on indemnity and insurance clauses within construction contracts to ensure contractual requirements match the procured insurances- advised on offshore construction claims related to the Projects that have been placed in respect to scope and coverage
