Hi, I’m Vimal Raj, a Mechanical Engineering graduate with a Masters in Business Administration (SCM) and professionally into Supply Chain Management – Strategic sourcing.For my first professional role, I was given an opportunity to be a part of Earth mover wheel component procurement team where I strived hard to setup a strong opening platform for myself. My second role was indeed a much-needed breakthrough in my career where I was swapped to Renewable division internally. That’s when I came into this captivating renewable energy sector where I have learned a great deal and developed interest towards renewable energy especially windmills. Currently I’m working as a Sourcing Manager for Danish Industries India. I feel truly special in any workplace because of my unique abilities to- Collaborate with suppliers to meet organizational objectives- Drive new projects with phenomenal sourcing strategy- Execute big ideas with given constraints.- Rely on data and facts to arrive at a decisionI received special praise for developing new products in a remarkable short span increasing business revenues. Adding statistical accomplishments on savings through process improvements.I’m passionate about dance, badminton, nature and travel to keep my soul balanced.
