In charge for preliminary design preparation (gathering information before designing), Design activities (Concept design), Evaluation and analysis Component and assembly modeling (Detail design) Prototype manufacturing and applying modernization techniques ensuring the proper process flow.• Supervised the design and prototyping of an electric Motorcycle and Electric Scooter.• Used multiple Rapid prototyping processes to create prototypes which reduced the process time by huge margins.• Responsible for 3D modelling and creation of surfaces. Was a part of LTJSS India as its Suspension Lead. As one of the technical leads I had to undergo many challenges as I had to lead a team of 4 to build a suspension system from scratch. Some of the challenges I faced were:1. Selecting the appropriate material for our single point trailing arm(which was never done in India at thee CDS level).2. Maintaining an efficient supply chain for our parts which had easy wear and tear.3. Manufacturing of our springs inhouse. 4. Proper Finite element analysis and Fine tuning of our suspension system to provide the best response.5. Doing all of the above while trying to reduce our weight(Suspension system had a weight reduction of almost 10kg).

As a Design Engineer for the SAE Collegiate club i got to put to use my skills with ProE, Solidworks and ANSYS to full use. Designing parts to the extreme specifications of my team members according to their calculations was interesting and a challenge at the same time. As the parts designed would go on to be manufactured it was extremely important that the accuracy and precision be maintained.
