What started out as a simple subject of interest in gaming has become his lifelong passion. After graduating with a diploma in Digital Entertainment Technologies from Nanyang Polytechnic, Ming began freelancing and teaching programming where he fell in love with apps programming and teaching. Shortly after , Ming graduated with a honours(distinction) in Computer Science from the Nanyang Technological University , all the while freelancing and teaching through his studies. With a versatile skill set and armed with the determination to explore his field, he had various stings in research institute like A*Star and startup companies.Upon graduation, he decided to give up Phd scholarship & opportunities to co-found Appsolutely Technologies, where he continue his passion of building apps.Till date, Ming has overseen the technical aspects of Appsolutely Technologies , being responsible for it’s development, implementation of new technologies and planning of it’s various projects. He has also served as Senior Principal Architect in Accenture Digital and Cloud Engineering Practice Lead in UST. He is currently living out his digital passion transforming lives as a Senior Solutions Architect (Cloud Innovation Center) in AWS.Being a firm believer of continuous learning and growth in the fast-pace digital age. Ming have hands-on experience & understanding of different market product & platform's digital capabilities . He is certified as a senior technology & data architect within Accenture , performed cloud practice/CoE leadership roles and carries expert solution architect accreditation from all 3 major cloud platform - Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS & Google GCP.While not busy hacking it out on his computer, Ming enjoys filling his free time with teaching (SMU,NUS, ITE), manga, strategic games and travelling with his wife , two daughters and son.
