Vinay Chatlani is the co-founder and Executive Director at Soch Apparels Pvt Ltd, the company that owns Soch, India’s fastest growing Indian Fashion Wear Brand.Armed with a major in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Marketing from University of Miami, Vinay’s first venture was a Promotions company that targeted the most exclusive, clubs, bars, restaurants, night clubs and lounges in Miami.He relocated to India in 2004 and joined MD Retail, his family business which owned the successful retail chain - Favourite Shop. He was instrumental in Favourite Shop introducing its own line of Indian Fashion Wear for women along with his mother, Shobha Chatlani.Vinay’s conviction made MD Retail launch Soch as a separate new Brand in 2007. From building a sustainable and profitable P&L, from store design to visual merchandising, advertising, marketing strategies, and scripting a successful growth strategy and expansion plan, everything at Soch is a reflection of his vision.Over a span of 15 years, he has built one of the most loved, admired and fastest-growing Indian Fashion Wear brands for women; that retails across 61 cities with over 175 stores.Apart from Soch, Vinay’s passions and the Soch experience drove him to start a successful new company specialising in end-to-end retail, Office, and Residential interior design and execution. They also provide end-to-end experience solutions, especially revolving around digital displays, content creation and other tech-driven initiatives.
