TwistTM - a functional testing automation product Aug 08 - currentDescription Twist is a revolutionary product, aiming at getting better collaboration in software development by getting Business people involved in functional testing and helping QAs to maintain and evolve the functional tests. To be more specific its an IDE for writing functional tests written as an Eclipse Plugin.Responsibilitieslead developer involved in architecture and designing the solution.Writing code fr the requirements by following TDD.Helping in analyzing the user stories and doing feasibility analysis.Maintaining build and improving the build infrastructure.Pairing with junior developers and bringing them up to speed.Handling L3 support tickets and helping in pre-sales activities like demo, workshops.

Description This project is an enhancement of an existing in-production solution. It is responsible for automatically generating tickets for the capacity-forecast mismatch between buyer(GM) and its suppliers. i2 Collaborative Supply Execution(CSE) is being used to maintain part-plant-location relationship as well as to raise tickets to the corresponding user(analyst) based on the tolerance set. Also involves a huge amount of data to be fed into i2 CSE to calculate the mismatch. The data load is done every week, updating the latest forecast fed in.ResponsibilitiesCustomization of i2 Collaborative Supply Execution product using i2 ABPP(framework). Includes design and development of custom models, UI and integrating with existing product.Configuration of the i2 CSE product, with the custom fixes.Design of the changes requested to calculate Least Capacity Required and Max Capacity Required.Migration of the existing Buffer group from the legacy system.

The solution is provided for strategically procuring the raw materials from different suppliers and sourcing the parts to different part suppliers.ResponsibilitiesComplete responsibility of the contract approval workflow using Savvion Workflow engine, by creation of the approval workflow templates and coding automated steps using Savvion API.Also the creation of PDF corresponding to contracts created in the system, using Actuate e-reports API.Development of i2 Performance Manager reports using PL/SQL stored proceduresOnsite UAT and Production support.

Client Bangalore Development Authority(BDA).Description The objective of the project is to automate the processes of BDA (Bangalore Development Authority) and hence making it transparent. The project involves a client-server setup, where in BDA staffs in different offices can access the same server.ResponsibilitiesInvolved in the design and development of some of the core components like persister framework, file reader.Involved in the design of some of the modules, using Rational Rose.

Client It was a new idea from an entrepreneur Description Friendly Answers [FA] is a social networking application helping people connect together and help find answers to questions. The project involved a client application and website. The client application is local to users and interacts with a centralized server. The website is to manage members and have non-members go through the existing question and answers.ResponsibilitiesInitially got involved in the bug fixing at an impressive rate of reducing the bugs in the product. Also got involved into the development processes and completed assignment tasks successfully. Learnt the design aspects coupled with methodological development.
