*Roles & Responsibilities :•Closing 8D, before deadline by analyzing potential root causes, and implementing effective counter measure•Leads complaint investigations, failure analysis of returned products and determines whether to stop ship/stop production.•Analyzing internal quality issues, and involves in effective improvement activities•Skilled in preparing Vision Measuring Machine inspection programme for new parts. •Skilled in preparing Coordinate Measuring Machine inspection programme for die ,Punch & Stripper plates. •Control plan, FMEA, PFD preparation, updating and revision.•Conducting Internal Audit for ISO 9001/IATF 16949/ISO 14001 •Responsible for the measuring for all the full point dimensions (Layout inspection) according to the part drawing.•Resolve non-conformance issues with supplied materials and follow up with suppliers for completion of corrective actions•Support the Quality Manager to monitor and report on supplier product quality and performanceWork with the supplier directly, create correction action plans to address process failuresMaintaining detailed reports on supplier quality, including defect rates and areas that result in flaws.•Participated in customer quality audits (System & process audits VDA 6.3) and responded to findings.•Experienced with interpreting engineering drawings and creating inspection methods and aesthetic specifications.•Calibration Documentation & history card of all machines, equipment's etc & to maintain the quality Data base.•Responsible for updating the inspection standards & relevant documents for any change of revision in the part drawing.

Bangalore

• Responsbile for follow up & verification of the external calibration of measuring equipment, machine mounted gauges, maintaining calibration records.• Analyzing & monitoring quality of process & product at each stage & taking the corrective action on report of non-conformities.• Monitoring and control of New Gauge/Instrument Procurement & In-house & Outsource Gauge Calibration.• Planning & arranging of measuring instruments are calibrated at regular intervals & proper record maintenance.• Conducting MSA studies & hands on experience in Measuring Instruments &Gauges, Profile Projector ,Shore Hardness Tester etc. • Prepare Procedures/work instruction and provide training to operators on quality aspects of products.• Knowledge of planning & conducting process Audit, Product audit, Dock Audit, 5 Why Analysis, GD&T.• Knowledge about ISO/TS16949 Standards, 7QC tools, 8D, SPC, PPAP.• Inspecting and testing of all Incoming Materials against test certificate, Finished Goods and making final inspection reports.• Preparation of FMEAs, Control plans & PPAP documents.• Responsible for closure of any quality issue and implement lesson learnt system
