• Working along with the Production and Gen lab departments on the projects and monthly material requirements.• Planning for the monthly and quarterly forecasts of material requirement as per the production schedule and releasing the purchase orders to vendors.• Follow up for the material from vendors to ensure on time material deliveries without shortages.• Running the shortage reports daily with ware house and ensure there is no production loss.• Visiting vendor places periodically to check the work progress and ensure the timely deliveries.• Coordinating with the Quality department to check the received material is passed as per the standards and requirements.• Planning the import materials from the parent company RSM (Rapiscan Systems Malaysia) and ensure timely delivery by monitoring the customs clearance process.
