Engineering Leader within Alexa Smart Home Cameras team responsible for enabling innovative Alexa experiences in and around customers’ homes. We provide a suite of APIs to enable Alexa integrations for capabilities such as announcements or live-streaming, as well as developing technology across AI, media streaming, real-time communication, and the Alexa app. Building multiple teams from the ground up for a confidential project and actively hiring for various roles in Seattle and Sunnyvale.

My team builds the coolest feature on Amazon Video called X-Ray. While watching a movie, have you ever asked yourself the question "I have seen that actor in some other movie, Which one was it?..what is their name? ". With X-Ray you can finally get all these answered in real time! and do much more. My team builds X-Ray for mobile (Android, iOS), Web and Living Room platforms.

Provide technical leadership to develop VUDU's streaming apps for mobile and TV platforms. Successfully led the development of VUDU application for Android platform. This application supports a native UI and is capable of streaming in HD using MPEG-DASH. Besides that it supports second screen functionality via Google Cast.

Advanced Media Gateway: * Led design and development of video streaming framework. This framework is capable of streaming Live and recorded content to remote IP set-tops and Tablets.* Managed cross functional, multi-site teams to achieve development goals.* As Scrum Lead, followed agile principles to manage development team’s sprint deliverables.Collaborative Media Tagging: * Conceived Collaborative Media Tagging idea.* Developed Prototype that was demonstrated at CES 2011. * Received patent for this idea: Method and apparatus for user-based tagging of media content - US 20130046773 A1Tru2way (OCAP) - Java based middleware for digital TV set-tops/Gateways: * Designed and developed core modules like Application life-cycle management, Application Security, DVR, Platform monitoring and recovery framework.* Worked as main engineering interface with the customer to resolve system integration and deployment issues.* Represented Motorola at various industry conferences.

Developed DVB-MHP (Multimedia Home Platform) middleware for digital TV set-tops. Developed Authoring tools to generate MPEG-2 systems data and DSMCC Object carousels. Developed PC based Simulator to run the MHP software stack on a desktop.
