1) Planning and Installation of process equipment for the next generation Mercedes-Benz SUV.Performing design reviews of Body shop jigs and fixtures with respect to Design for Manufacturability (DFM).2) Reviewing the product changes and co-ordinating the implementation of the changes in series production.3) Responsible for the Engineering buy-off with respect to Engine compartment, sidewall and roof framer process equipment.4) Creating and updating production documentation using DPE - Standard Method & Procedures, Job Element Sheets, Tools & Parts Sheet.5) SQC - Using statistical tools to determine process capability and implementing all the VA/AA, PDR, and Q-Release quality requirements.6) Investigating possible enhancements to the manufacturing process by acting as technical liaison between Engineering, Suppliers, Quality assurance, and Manufacturing Teams.7) Evaluating tooling cost and tracking progress by monitoring supplier processes and toolmakers (on time delivery of all parts off series tools for SOP)8) Planning and execution of stage-gate reviews.9) Setup and maintain program tracking software providing reporting applications as need on a daily basis.
