Master's thesis completed with the topic "3D simulation of drilling dust removal when hammer drilling with ABAQUS DEM". This project has to do with building a new simulation method from scratch for testing the drill designs with ABAQUS DEM (Discrete Element Method) so that the drill dust transfer when drilling concrete is optimized.

Directly involved in the structural validation of turbine housings in future automotive turbo designs by mainly calculating TMF (thermomechanical fatigue) and vibration studies with ANSYS simulation software.Played a key role in supporting the application engineers and customer teams in solving several ongoing customer problems, validating the results with test experiences so that the simulations have a high level of confidence.

During my internship, we were working on a prototype of a cotton picking robot. I had to design and fabricate:1) the frame which carried the whole picking arm and collected the cotton.2) the wheel assembly to move the robot in and around the cotton field.3) the end tool to pick and place the cotton.

I learnt first hand how the production and engineering department functions. I also saw the effective use of TQM and 5S for ensuring optimum production rates and minimum down time in the production line.
