Hey there, I’m Vinayak, a marketing professional with a passion for entrepreneurship.My journey into sales and marketing began at the young age of 16 when I started crafting and selling science projects to my classmates.Initially, my aspirations led me towards a career in medicine, and I even secured a seat in one of Delhi's prestigious medical colleges. However, I opted for a different path.My love for entrepreneurship blossomed when I ventured into online selling on eBay India during my undergraduate studies. What started as a side gig eventually evolved into a full-fledged venture.In 2013, I was among the early adopters to register as a seller on Amazon India, which significantly boosted our sales to Rs 5 million within just six months.Our success caught the attention of Amazon India's marketing team, and they featured my entrepreneurial journey in a YouTube video (link in bio), serving as a tremendous source of motivation.Seeking to further enhance my skills and knowledge, I pursued an MBA at IIM Amritsar. During my first year, I secured an off-campus internship at Google, where I worked with the YouTube India marketing team.Although I wasn't offered a permanent position at Google post-internship, setbacks never deterred me from exploring new opportunities. I transitioned into a marketing role, where I've been instrumental in helping organizations build products, acquire new customers, and achieve exponential growth through outbound and digital marketing strategies.Meanwhile, my curiosity led me to delve into the world of capital markets.
