My journey with the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) at NITI Aayog has been a thrilling ride on the innovation and entrepreneurship express. As someone who's dabbled in research, data science, and technology, I've had the privilege of wearing multiple hats, from managing incubation centers to building partnerships and IT systems. But what truly fuels my passion is deciphering what our innovation ecosystem craves and crafting programs to cater to those needs.With a blend of tech skills and data insights, I've collaborated with multiple partners, overseen grants, KPIs, and helped shape an acclaimed incubator assessment framework. My journey also includes expanding India's global footprint through initiatives like Startup20 and State Innovation Missions. Currently, I'm steering a 'CSR through Innovation' campaign, where we're using innovation to create positive social impact. My mission is to leverage research, data science, and technology to drive innovation and entrepreneurship for an inclusive and sustainable world.

Majorly worked on two projects, as part of the first project worked on improving the performance of conversation based, personalized e-commerce Chatbot through researching and competitive benchmarking. Designed the database schema and pipeline for analytics visualization platform for the clients. Also designed a centralized Control center to help client launch the bot and manage the catalog. In the second project worked on a decentralized data-driven recommendation engine for a US retailer, used techniques like multiple linear regression, price elasticity models and clustering and tools like Python, R and Excel

At Opinio, joined the company at a very early stage( (8th employee) as a core team member to transform the food-tech industry. Founded by IIT Kanpur Graduates, a fast-growing logistics startup(where I did the first delivery for the company and we reached 18000 orders per day across 6 cities in the country).Was exposed to different, diverse roles and responsibilities in a very short span of time. SALES: Helped the company sell Point-of-sale software for restaurant/food industry. Worked towards setting up company structure, goals and ensuring its growthTRAINING: Set up Training and Development department from scratch which takes care of training and grooming of Blue collar employeesSTRATEGY: Catalyzing various strategic and optimization projects across the organization. Was a part of R&D Analytics and Insights team. In this short span of period, learnt a great amount of deal. Worked towards adding new capabilities to TCS Analytics & Insights through building client offerings, creating patents, designing demo models based on cutting edge tools and techniques in data science. To give training and take training on latest data technology. Tools - SAS, R, Python, Excel.Gained Coursera and internal certification in all the tools.

Mathematics and Scientific Computing

Headed a team that- Manages the Alumni Mentorship Program: Act as medium through which around 2500 students benefit from interactions with the vast IITK Alumni network- Organizes talks by prominent Alumni as a flagship PoWER event to inculcate a sense of research among students- Floats internships to students through IIT-K alumni- Manages the hospitality of alumni and the logistics at the institute alumni reunion meets- Organized Utthan, an Industry-Academia interaction event, which was attended by 25 S.M.E’s and members of Indian Industries Association

An event with Workshops, inspirational talks and competitions focused on leadership, social innovation and youth empowerment- Led a team responsible for inviting the eminent leaders from various fields- Successfully invited and managed the hospitality of personalities like Arvind Kejriwal, Sandeep Pandey (founder Asha), Sandeep Maheshwari (CEO Images Bazaar), Amitabh Thakur (President national RTI forum and IRDS)- Organized the largest health camp for economically challenged people in Kanpur. In the year 2012 we served 1000 people from villages near IIT Kanpur

Oversaw management of Alumni Reunions and led a student team which handled their hospitality- Convinced the authority to initialize the concept of Online Registration for better management and avoiding time delay- Introduced new events and activities to help alumni to relive the days of IITK student life

Designed a dynamic method on identifying, influencing, and monetizing existing customers :- Using the theory of data-mining techniques on cluster analysis - RFM analysis i.e. quantitatively categorized which customers are best ones, by examining how recently customer has purchased(recency), how often they purchase(frequency) and how much the customer has spent(Monetary) - Applied them utilizing python and Microsoft excel- Developed marketing strategies tailored to particular segments and/or individualsModeled customer relationship and predicted customer behavior using the theory of Markov Chains: - Based on the customer’s previous actions, computed transition probability matrix, reward vector and discount factor - Projected predictive CLTV(Customer Lifetime Value) using the real time data on SAS(Statistical Analysis System)Other analysis:- Explored as well as modeled the churning(turnaround) and re-purchasing behavior of the customers, and assimilated this information to give recommendation for increasing the retention rate- Analyzed the data based on customer’s buying preferences in category and brand and their demographic characteristics, and proposed strategy to increase engagement with firm- Understood the working of portals like RJmetrics, GA(Google Analytics), Magento and used them to track the business on regular basis
