Software dev staff engineer• Worked as a backend engineer in Topology feature. Integrated backend data structures into a JSON format, by using Jansson library. • Solved multiple JIRAs related to the Topology feature, including a buffer overflow issue by separating out the code from Janssen library’s array dependencies and by implementing a new string array. It was a critical customer issue which was causing the webpage to crash.

• BFD (Bidirectional Forwarding Detection)  Developed the complete Command Line Interface (CLI) required for BFD configuration on Extreme’s switches.  Implemented BFD to work on top of OSPF (Open shortest Path First) and on BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) protocols, by developing the necessary code and doing all the required unit testing.• OVSDB and MACsec MKA  Designed and developed the Command Line Interface(CLI) for both the features. Compared multiple vendors’ implementation of MACSec MKA and decided on the CLI implementation.  Introduced new MIBs as part of the features and wrote the complete backend code to glue MIBs to the feature code.  Wrote the design test cases to test the CLI and MIB feature and got it tested.• DVR (Distributed Virtual Routing)  Worked as a team in developing DVR feature which was deployed on Extreme’s switches.  Solved several JIRAs related to DVR redistribution feature, by working closely with the PV team. Was given a spot recognition award for solving critical bugs in a timely manner.
