My mom worked tirelessly as a nurse, giving her heart to her patients, and in turn her life. She was the founder of Empowered and put her savings into seeing it succeed. She believed in me when no one else did, and for that I am eternally grateful. Therefore, when it comes to transportation, I give it my all. I think about my mom and how much she loved giving back, making sure that everyone around her had an amazing time. I work tirelessly to carry that legacy on, so our clients can look back at their event with a huge smile. I do this so my mom's memory lives on with every smile that happens in our vehicles. And maybe, I can make a part of her is still proud of her son. I was born in India and came to America when I was 9 years old. My parents sacrificed everything for my sister and my future. I grew up in LA playing basketball with having big dreams of making it to the NBA. To pursue it, I would take the metro link, subway, and two buses to high school every day, since I lived in Saugus, CA and my high school was in West Hollywood, Ca. The closest I got to this dream was when I won the state championship as a sophomore in high school. I don't play anymore, just teach whoever will learn. Since my NBA dreams went bust, I headed to a college where I could finish quickly, and I chose DeVry. Got my BA in 2 years 8 months. Wanting to give myself an advantage, I went back to get my MBA from Keller, finished it in a year. After college, I wanted to be recruiter and ultimately start my own agency. First job, I worked as a sales recruiter, getting people sales jobs. It was 100% commission, so I decided to go somewhere else that had a base. Ended up at Ajilon Finance, under the mentorship of Steve Shapiro, I was able to learn how to build relationships, one of the best mentors on this planet, and I am eternally grateful to him for helping to shape my life. After a while, it was always numbers and not people over there, and I decided to leave to start my own recruiting agency. During that same time my mom and dad started a limo company, I never thought I would drive someone as it was beneath me, having an MBA and all. Little did I know, this is what I was made and for and is my ultimate passion, cars and taking care of people. This is where I am now, and I love every moment of it.
