Over this past quarantined summer, I was given the chance to teach students ranging from 6 to 17 on a variety of topics. The main course that I taught was Machine Learning with Python, as well as Programming Applications in Java, and map creation in Minecraft! The task was daunting at first, seeing how this would be the first time I'd be teaching online, but it proved crucial and formative in my abilities to delegate, pace tasks, and communicate with individuals through a virtual format. I've carried over my experience into managing my club's programs and tutoring as of now.

Working at iD Tech over this last summer gave me the chance to teach TensorFlow and Python to kids ranging from 13 to 17 years old. I worked with a great group of programmers all specializing in different disciplines. We were given two goals: teach the students the course they've come for and help them make friends. This position helped develop my communication and leadership skills as well as sharpen my creativity when approaching a task.
