Ooredoo is bringing mobile high speed data and crystal clear voice to Myanmar.As Director of Construction and Deployment I was part of the executive management team and headed up the Construction Team responsible for the build of 1000's of new towers and deployment of dual vendor RAN solution working with Nokia and ZTE.It is truly a greenfield project with little to no existing infrastructure and little in the way of skilled labour. As such I was responsible for several key initiatives including the building of a training facility, 3 key Exchange Building , and over 4000 greenfield sites, requiring the errection of towers and over a 1000kms of fibre. My team Managed all contractors and vendors, programmed and scheduled all works and managed all contracts under the scope of works The initiative has been a total success with over a 1M subscribers within a week of launch.

As part of the Government National Boardband scheme all new estates greater than 100 lots/ premises will be fibred from Day 1. It is a complex programme of works as new estates are signing in at between 25-50/week and are located in both metro and rural environments across Australia.As Project Director I direct our internal teams and work with of suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure new estates are connected in a timely manner in a challenging and evolving environment

As principal consultant assisted to modify and/or add systems, processes and reporting to deliver more effectively the deployment of 1800Mhz LTE to Telstra - Project code name KSD.In addition, took NSW region under my personal responsibility and delivered to agreed timelines under difficult conditions

After leaving Telstra, Vince went to Telecom New Zealand Telecom. The position was a contract role for 12 months. The role was Project Director RAN deployment which involved approximately 1000 sites having 2G and 3G (850 and 2100) deployed. He was responsible for full end to end delivery of the RAN/ UTRAN network from site acquisition through to transmission and tower errection, from site make ready through to operational readiness and commerical launch. The project was valued in excess of NZ$450M

Reporting to Head of Wireless, as GM my role was to supervise and take full responsibility and accountability for both Business As Usual (BAU) and Development projects within the Telstra 3G umbrella including annual and quarterly roll-out/ expansion plans, site banking, successful introduction of new features and products operating on 3G Budgets, Resourcing ,Communications within Technology Group and greater Telstra, Liaising with internal and external parties to achieve KPIs.

Vince filled the role of General Manager 3G Development Technology Infrastructure. In filling this role, Vince was also Project Director for the 3G 850 Deployment (NextG); a key Telstra Transformation deliverable involving over 5000 sites, 7500 base-stations (3G and 2G) and a common core deployment and several world firsts.In addition to the NextG deployment, Vince was also involved in mobile roll-outs in New Zealand and Hong Kong on behalf of wholly owned Telstra subsidiaries Telstra-Clear and CSL/ MWM respectively
