Vince Casas is a professional songwriter and producer whose most recent works include songwriting with Beau Hodges, and a songwriting commission from Zappos.com with the artist Daniel Park. http://www.zappos.com/about/danielpark. His pop commercial songwriting expertise was scouted by Studio.com where he spent a season mentoring songwriters from around the world in Ryan Tedder’s Studio.com Songwriting Class. Vince now has his own Pop Rock Songwriting Bootcamp available on Studio.com/vincecasas. He serves as an instructor of Studio Recording & Music Business in the Music Technology Department at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and works to mentor college students as the College Navigator for Equipo Academy. As a producer, mentor, collaborator, and businessman, Vince’s true talent is his creative project management. He has an incredible ability to rally organizations around complex goals, and seeks to provide true value for all parties involved. Vince’s career as a songwriter has earned him national radio play, with artist such as Theory of Flight, VNCE, and The Beau Hodges Band. In 2010, he received EMI national distribution of the album “Within Reach” by Theory of Flight, on which Vince produced, engineered, performed, and composed (Available at Best Buy, Amazon, and iTunes). Singles from the “Within Reach” album received national airtime through CBS Radio, live performances on local Fox and CBS news stations, a Half-Time Performance at the 2010 UFL Championship, and two singles in a video game for the Nintendo Wii, “Triple Crown Snowboarding”. In the fall of 2012, he debuted his first 2 film compositions, “Race War” and “Playing With Fire”, at the famous W Theater in Los Angeles.Vince has has chaired for departments in Audio, Film, and Video, for Sanford-Brown College, and Laurus College. His expertise in music, songwriting, Pro Tools, Reason, Sibelius, musical composition, and large format analog consoles has inspired and developed many of the department’s finest students.Vince holds a Master of Music in Music Technology from Southern Utah University, and a Bachelor of Science in Contemporary Music from Greenville College, with instrumental mastery in guitar and deep background in music theory, songwriting, composition, and orchestration.
