The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is the official volunteer auxiliary of the United States Air Force. The Vermont Wing of CAP consists of a headquarters in South Burlington and squadrons located throughout the state.Vermont Wing has single-engine aircraft, vehicles, radios, direction-finding, and various equipment, along with pilots, senior members, and cadets.

I served as the Army National Guard Family Readiness Group leader for DET 1 GSC at Camp Ethan Allen Training Site, CEATS, in Jericho VT. It was an honor to volunteer for this team.

Essex VT

Our two school districts merged, CCSU and ETSD, to form Essex Westford School District. My team now takes care of eleven locations. I have essentially held this tech position since 2003.

I was promoted to this position in October of 2008 after serving as the Director of Information Technology since 2003. My team continues to take care of the Supervisory Union's technology needs, from infrastructure to application support and programming. We serve approximately 3,000 accounts, over 4,000 devices and 8 locations.

My team of 16, was responsible for over 2000 computers, 47 servers, a phone system including 950 voice over IP phones, a 20 meg connection to the internet, 8 locations and a metropolitan area network, possibly the 7th largest in the state(so I'm told), running on a Cisco infrastructure.

I was an Army volunteer for the J6 and Family Readiness Program. I "worked" as needed during the evening on weekdays. I supported the Yellow Ribbon events and Beyond the Yellow Ribbon events across Vermont and West Lebanon NH. I have assisted with server setup and desktop support. In 2010, I logged 300 hours. In 2012, I was also awarded the Vermont.

As a volunteer in the State Guard I constantly sought to provide direct support to our service members and their families. I started out in the Fourth Battalion as a recruiter, moved to the Medical Corps and became the Chief of Staff. I moved to VSG Headquarters and was the G3 in charge of training and operations for all of the VSG. Over the years we.

Lead an outstanding team that supported the maintenance and growth of the corporate network. We were responsible for implementing a VoIP phone system, managing the Exchange server, tape backup systems, a server farm of over 34 file and web servers and about 500 workstations.
