I'm co-founder and principal consultant at Grownetics and a long time cultivator and CEA facilities and systems designer. During that time I visited 100's of factories, designed many products, and launched my own line of rugged tablet accessories 'Goliath Protection'. I'm incredibly proud to have a garnered full 5 star ratings on Amazon for the product.In China I also experienced first hand the very apparent effects of pollution in these new types of mega cities. This has informed my work since, and at the time inspired me to develop open source air-purifier designs and community education initiatives with aaaiiirrr.org. During my last year in China an 8-yr old child was diagnosed with pollution induced lung cancer. This lead me to look deeper into sustainable development and saw pollution affecting all resources, from air to water, to food. Orogen was formed as a platform to invent the future by working collaboratively with companies, brands, and real communities. I designed and developed innovative new automation products with Rademacher, and high end wireless audiophile solutions with First Chair Acoustics. Our process focused on collaborating with online communities to co-create solutions. A great example is the Notion Ink community who inspired and co-created the Goliath Protection ruggedized tablet case for the Adam android tablet.
I was responsible for developing and implementing CFI’s SOP’s for new brand identity and IP protected product development. We provided full supply chain sourcing and logistics to help clients take new product lines from concept to mass production and global fulfillment.
Worked with RayNu Energy to develop their prototype mechanized folding home solar array. Together with the lead design engineer, we developed a prototype compact actuated solar array that could hook up to the back of a truck and unfold upon arrival at its destination.
Worked with internationally exhibited sculptor Matt Johnson to develop new works using 3D CAD, Laser Scanning, and precision CNC tools. I’m extremely proud the works I created with Matt Johnson, we achieved new levels of precision in wood using next gen CNC tools.
