- Source and screen new direct, co-invest and fund opportunities- Work with the deal team and advisory suite to conduct due diligence on investment opportunities including oversight of financial models, analysis of key drivers and risks- Lead or participate in gaining investment approval by preparing approval material & presentations- Negotiate transaction terms & finalize documentation- Utilize themes and investment ideas to enhance quality of discussions with peers, strategic partners, and/or other market participants; and,Spearhead preparation of Investment Memorandums

As a key member of Groupe ADP in the U.S., I was responsible for (i) sourcing new airport investment opportunities (public procurements and acquisitions), (ii) forging partnerships (when necessary) and selecting project bidding teams (internal and external resources), and (iii) managing the entire project life cycle (from preparation to legal and financial closing). I lead several structuring transactions in North America including the successful procurement of SWF’s OM&C contract with the PANYNJ (December 2019). These projects demand a combination of strong analytical, leadership and relationship management skills, and were realized in an entrepreneurial environment given a limited local set-up. This job has given me the unique opportunity to have a granular understanding of the North American market and its prospects.

Reporting directly to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, I supervised and coordinated the development of three subsidiaries operating Duty Free, Food and Beverage, and Lounges in major European and Middle Eastern airports, and totaling approx. EUR 800 million in revenues. I acted as Project Coordinator on more than a dozen tenders (including three commercial tenders for Muscat International Airport, one for Riyadh King Khalid International Airport, one for New-York JFK Airport and one for Zagreb Airport) from preparation phase to the legal and financial closing. I also attended their board meetings and participated in the day-to-day management. I have carried out a profitability survey of Istanbul Ataturk Airport’s commercial area leading to an optimization of the commercial area. I participated in the definition of a new commercial strategy (including downtown diversification).

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, I was responsible for the full spectrum of investor relations activity: from coordinating the annual report to road showing with the top management. Together with my team, I implemented a new organization and strategy to support a revised management style: redefined job description, digitalization, new software increasing productivity, new presentation format and new roadshows strategy. ADP’s equity value doubled to EUR 10 billion during my three-year assignment and the team was twice voted #1 IR team in transportation (Extel survey 2015 and 2016).
