Currently working as a Clinical Digital Nurse at Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust. I'm passionate about building communities and sharing knowledge and skills to empower staff to create positive change. I'm lucky to work in a role where we have chance to implement evidence based practices into the emerging field that is digital nursing. I believe in radical transparency and creating non-hierarchical communication structures as that is evidence based practice in complex dynamic systems like the NHS. We need to make the technology work for people and put people and processes at the heart of digital transformation. This means moving away from a command and control model and towards embracing systems thinking and complexity theory. I believe as nurses we should be setting the agenda by identifying what we need and clearly articulating it, not waiting to be sold the next technology that will inevitably not be what we needed if we haven't set the goals. Outside of work I enjoy creative pursuits such as art, I've created the images for the logo and branding for our team (the concept was, and continues to be, a team effort!).
