In between those two jobs, he was a computational scientist at the National Institute for Computational Sciences, a joint venture of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (Department of Energy) in Oak Ridge, TN for four years. He was also a Level 2 Manager for Education and Outreach with the multi-million-dollar XSEDE NSF project during that time.Vince holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (’02), a Master’s degree in Engineering (’07), and a Ph.D. in Computational Engineering (’10), all from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
