Manage & monitor the operations on Import shipment (East & West Malaysia). To obtain permits/license from all relevant local authorities (port, custom, health etc.) before shipment arrived. If necessary to arrange independent body / surveyor for inspection work, sampling, analysis report, for selected shipment.Manage, monitor & planned shipment schedule for Export shipment. Coordination between production/logistic/haulier/warehouse to ensure cargo readiness to meet shipment date. Coordination with Surveyor/Fumigator to do sampling, inspection and fumigation (if requires). Coordinate between buyer and banker on collection documents and payment (eg LC, DP, TT etc) . Coordinate with haulier/transporter and warehouse management team on the expected arrival of goods for logistic and storage planning (export shipment).Monitor and continuous updates on shipping status with all related parties vide tele-communications and/or e-mails. Ensure Import Documents/permits readiness prior to vessel's arrival (East & West Malaysia). Preparation of all relevant Export shipping documents & certificates for submission to bank/transmission to buyer for collection. Prepare weekly shipping schedule and verify all invoices/receipts related to shipment.Monitoring of payment from Supplier on claims ( Despatch, OAP, Discounts, Price Difference, Short Weight, etc )Provide supervision to the Junior Shipping ExecutiveSourcing of ocean/air freight for export shipment in containers.
