Serve as a consultant for short-term or long-term education projects ranging from primary to higher education. Manage large education projects at the national or provincial level.

A USAID project, the University Support and Workforce Development Program supports the Ministry of Higher Education in Afghanistan. The position is designed to enhance, introduce new bachelor degree programs in selected universities throughout Afghanistan.This will be achieved through negotiated efforts with international partner universities and the university senior officials. Also support to be provided for MoHE in Quality Assurance, Research and Curriculum Development.

In support of ADB's Higher Education Reform Project served as a consultant for IRIM concerning curriculum development. Prepared guidelines for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science concerning "Curriculum Review and Development for Higher Education Institutions". Also prepared a document that summarised the current situation for curriculum review and development in selected higher education institutions in Mongolia.

Conducted organization-based research for Aga Khan Foundation USA for the MIAD-GDA program in Badakshan, Afghanistan. October 20, 2014 - November 11, 2014Designed a faculty development training program for the Afghanistan Higher Education Program (University of Massachusetts, Center for International Education). Title of training: Developing Critical Thinking in Higher Education. Developed the Participant and Trainers Manuals with additional resources identified for the participants and the trainers. Trained the instructors for the TOT. Assisted with translation of the training materials into Dari language. September 2013 - December 2013Served as a consultant for the Afghanistan Higher Education Program (University of Massachusetts, Center for International Education) under the M.Ed Curriculum Development Project.Activities focused on the Kabul Education University. Oversaw the development of two courses that combined subject matters (Social Science and Natural Science) with pedagogy. Supported the Social Science course development and supported the Natural Science Consultant in the development of the Natural Science course. May 15, 2013 to July 20, 2013.Conducted a needs assessment and prepared a development plan for the Universitas Muria Kudus, in Kudus, Central Java, Indonesia. Compared the current capacity of the Faculty of Teacher Education in providing quality primary teachers, English Teachers and School Counselors to stakeholder, national and international expectations. August 2012 to November 2012.Prepared a technical Report for the Director of Senior Secondary Education, Ministry of National Education, Indonesia concerning capacity building of the Senior Secondary Education Subsystem in a decentralized education system. June 2002 - June 2003

Develop education projects to be funded by the private sector. Promote effective development agency programs for replication and adaption to address private sector development interests.

Managed a large USAID funded education project in Central Java, Indonesia. A multi-million dollar, multi-year project that provided support for 9 districts and three universities in the training of teachers and university lecturers. The project enlisted a team of 11 office staff, 5 technical support and 48 field/training staff. During the transition phase the project expanded its efforts to Jogjakarta Special Area, and 19 other districts in Central Java, increase university outreach to 13 universities, conducted a Teacher Education Summit for the Provincial Education Office, and established the Active Learning Facilitators Association for Central Java and DIY.

Responsibility involved working with lecturers for 14 primary teacher education courses in the transfer from face-to-face to flexible and distance learning. Served as a guest lecturer and conducted classroom observation during the student teaching periods. Wrote several chapters for two of the teacher education courses.

ADB Loan Project #1360-INO, Senior Secondary Education Project (SSEP), Component 2: Teacher Management and School Development, Directorate of Secondary Education, Ministry of Education and Culture. Provided oversight for a team of 26 national and international consultants in the development of national institutes for improving teachers, assessing and recommending improvements in school supervision, assess school operations and propose effective practices, a study on teacher mismatch leading to recommendations for decreasing the mismatch, improved language lab facility model, and conduct a study on school development leading to a training manual for principals. Conducted the School Supervisor assessment with recommendations. Led a team of international and national researchers in the study of effective school development, conducted workshops on effective practices and prepared a training manual for the Ministry.

Assisted the Director in the preparation of proposals, collaborate with School of Education professors in the development and implementation of international projects, editor of the Institute newsletter, monitored the activities of the institute while the Director was abroad.
