Direct responsibility for the Flindersgate commercial office ($83m AU) and fitout of the John Holland office floors ($9m AU). The scope was to Design and Construct a new office building above an existing carpark that had a Heritage Facade requiring restoration.Responsible to lead and complete the design and apply for the required town planning permit and seek adjoining Owners consent to build the new building above, while maintaining access throughout the build program for an operational carpark below the new facility.Direct responsibility for the New Royal Hobart Hospital ($400m AU). This new General Hospital is located in a brown field site that required demolition of an existing block to accommodate a new state of the art facility for the State of Tasmania. The scope also involved planning and integration of early works packages to update several adjoining wings inclusive of a new ring main for MEP services.The team required a senior leader to manage the design and construction Joint Venture between John Holland and Fairbrother (local partner) as the Managing Contractor that negotiated a GMP contract for the total scope inclusive of Design responsibilities. -

Following the completion of the two towers then proceeded to work in various management roles in NSW that established the state branch office in Sydney for Grocon including Commercial, Estimating & New Business. In 1997 returned to Melbourne with Grocon working in Property Development roles as JV Representative on the $300M Eureka Tower, and $500 M QV Centre in Lonsdale Street as Project Director on the BHP Billiton Tower. Then proceeded to take on senior construction roles as Contractors representative on the MCG Northern Stand Redevelopment $467M and Defence contracts at Watsonia. Held the Commercial Manager position for Victoria and set up the PPP strategic alliance with Plenary for Grocon that secured, the AgriBiosciences Research Centre $200M and the New VCCC Hospital $1billion. A member of the senior leadership group at Grocon and a member of the Sustainability Committee for the Property Council.
