I love medical science and technology, I’m always up to date on the latest tech. I grew up in Belmont Massachusetts, and started a scientific career in coagulation assay development for werfen while working on my biochemistry degree from the university of Maine. In 2021, I joined Haemonetics as an R&D scientist, working in the blood lab group on the next generation for point-of-care coagulation assays for the TEG6S thromboelastography platform. Outside of work I enjoy trying to master the art of 3D printing (SLA), working on small coding projects (ESP32, Arduino, Python apps), competitive weight training, and tending to my pet tortoise “Hank the tank”.Beyond my work and hobbies, I’m busy helping my family with their businesses in Belmont Massachusetts including: Hillside gardens/ACE hardware, a garden center and hardware store; Turf Equipment Plus, a landscape equipment dealer and service provider; and Salon suites Belmont, a brand new 26 unit rental for cosmetic professionals.
