While at Glencore, I worked on the Oil desk, under Sue Sexton, processing trade contracts. My responsibilities included the creation of outgoing contracts, based on means of transportation, for the sale of multiple oil related products, as well as monitoring and verifying incoming counterpart contracts, for the purchase of gasoline and other oil related products. These responsibilities also included corresponding with traders, operators, international offices, and counterparts to ensure proper execution of financing, transportation, and title transference. Due to the fast paced work environment, and constant rapport with other departments, I was able to hone my multitasking, time management, and interpersonal skills.

While obtaining my MBA at Iona, I worked for Black Valley Consulting, a small hedge fund based out of New York City. I worked directly under the CEO, Gary Mohamed, to create and analyze (VAR) value at risk reporting. I also worked with hedge fund managers implementing long/short strategies in equity markets, including IPO offerings, and municipal bonds. Each month I was also in charge of reconciling the monthly trade blotter for 5 hedge fund traders. Lastly I also compiled and produced 2012 and 2013 annual tax reporting documents, during a short, month long project.

While at Lincoln Financial I worked under wealth planning advisor, Gary Beane. Over the course of my 5 months with Lincoln Financial I transitioned a multi-million dollar insurance book of business by customizing excel spreadsheets, initiating conversation, and tracking its completion. I was also given the opportunity to observe case designs, and use a diverse product suite in the portfolio design of investment solutions for high net worth clients. I was able to learn and use the IT Platform of a Fortune 500 company including industry specific Contact Management software, Account Aggregation software, Streetscape Trading Platform, and Case Design and Illustration software.
