I was awarded an internship with the Houston Housing Assistance Program in the January of 2023 until June 2023. I was picked for this unique internship because of my passion for public interest law and wanting to help those who need it most. In this program I helped represent people who live under the poverty line or had disabilities and were facing eviction. I was watching and learning from my mentor at the time and have gained a lot of love and knowledge for the field of law and continue to follow that passion.
