As president of Beacon Medical Group, I strive to improve and expand the services of our 325 employed primary and specialty care physicians and advanced practice clinicians to make a positive impact on the health of our community. My long-time career as a family medicine physician provider deeply influences my perspective as a physician leader today. My best days include those when I receive a letter of thanks from a patient who had an exceptional experience at one of our practices. I’m also inspired when I meet with physicians and hear their passion and drive for quality patient care. When the current health care landscape begins to feel frenzied or unduly influenced by political pressures, my superpower is to stay grounded and pay attention to what really matters: providing the best care possible to our patients.
