I am an Honours Law graduate, CPA Accountant and a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy, the Institute of Internal Auditors Inc and the Risk Management Institute of Australasia. I qualified as an accountant and auditor with the National Audit Office in London where I spent 13 years. I moved to WA in 2005 since when I have spent a further 13 years in WA Government including OAG WA, and as Principal Auditor and Manager of Regulation and Compliance at various WA Government Departments. I have a strong background in governance, audit, fraud prevention, risk management and business improvement. I have in excess of 25 years of Industry-leading experience in private and public sector audit including National, State and Local Government. My extensive experience includes internal and external audit, performance audit, risk management, compliance, governance and business improvement. My audit experience includes National Audit Office, London, WA Government internal and external audit and private sector. In addition to audit and assurance, my previous positions include Legal Investigator, Director of Arbitration, Director of Corporate Services, Finance Director and Magistrate (UK).
