The West Wing is the official youth think tank of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aiming to represent the perspective and ideas of the young generation in Dutch foreign policy. The think tank consists of a group of approximately 50 young professionals and students from various study backgrounds. The TOA track writes an independent policy advice in cooperation with the Advisory Council on International Affairs.

I travelled extensively to various countries in West-Africa and was stationed in Ghana for two months in early 2023. I am particularly proud of my involvement in the establishment of East-West Seeds commercial operations in Ghana. Part of my responsibilities were to kick-start the local strategic and diplomatic partnerships, and to assist the senior management in the selection and appointment of a local distributor.Moreover, I was responsible for several data-driven projects that were meant to improve our capacity in the region. One example of such a project was the Channel Inventory Monitoring project, covering seven West-African countries. This initiative aimed to gain insights into local sales and stock volumes of our distributors in the region, enhancing our understanding of market dynamics. In addition, I led a regional price comparison project across 12 countries in East-West Seed West-Africa and was responsible for the mapping of the company's product portfolio in the region.
