Topics that have been discussed include: Chained CPI, Legislative Updates, the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program, Medicaid Expansion, HomeFit Programs for Senior Citizens, Management of Assisted Living Facilities, Medicare Sensible Solutions, African-American Heritage and Outreach, the Affordable Care Act, as well as many other topics relevant to seniors.Other tasks include; taking minutes for the weekly communications meetings, shooting and editing video for AARP's Authentic Voices using Adobe Premiere Pro video editing software, posting daily news clippings, writing op-ed advertorials for community based newspapers, writing for the state webpage, as well as digital photography.
