I am still an ILO official but with an “invalidity” status.I am persuaded by the potential of blockchain in our economy and our daily life, and very curious about several specific branches, NFT, Metaverse, Layer 2 solutions, Lightning Network, etc.Because of the health issues that I had to go through (initiated with long Covid), I am now back with a renewed interest in blockchain.——I started to work as an HR assistant in the International Labour Organization (ILO), a specialized agency of the United Nations common system, in the Pension Secretariat.Before this new step, I was working as an assistant to the Joint Advisory Appeals Board in the same Organization. I have analysed and classified the incoming mail and prepared the correspondence to the relevant interlocutors (Commission, appellants, Human Resources department, Cabinet of the Director General, members of the Board, etc.), following adequate administrative procedures and respecting the required confidentiality.In my daily tasks, I have endeavoured to classify and maintain registry files and documents with diligence and in an organized fashion. I have carried out my work under the supervision of the Executive Secretary of the Commission and actively collaborated with the lawyers and Co-Chairs of the Commission. When preparing and editing official letters and emails, my strengths are my attention to detail and an excellent spelling. My working languages are French and English.My work has been divided between my function as a legal administrative assistant to the Joint Advisory Appeals Board and as an administrative assistant to the Mediator, which has represented 20% of my activity.I have regularly prepared and submitted travel authorization requests for the Mediator's official missions, purchase orders and external collaborator contracts with our ERP system based on Oracle. I have performed various administrative and secretarial tasks for the Mediator.Passionate about blockchain, I am attending courses in order to increase my knowledge, develop technical skills as a blockchain developer, and broaden my know-how in this technology, in particular in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and second layer solutions and innovative concepts such as the Lighting Network or decentralized finance (DeFi).I am enthusiastic about innovation and new technologies, as evidenced by my professional path during the Internet boom of the late 1990s, when I worked as a web designer in a local start-up and an American web agency.
