• Provide rate quotes on international shipments • Track and trace shipments • Coordinate recovery and delivery schedules with various cartage agents and international partners• Communicate problems and provide solutions to other stations, international partners, and customers• Update the system with status of shipments• Maintain accordance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products. • Compute duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of merchandise exported/imported to and from foreign destinations• Complete various documents including invoices, bills of lading, and shipping statements to ensure compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products.• Develop lowest possible truck, rail, ocean and air freight rates• Ensure proper dock delivery orders are used by customer’s forwarder and provided to trucking companies, Pilot yard, and/or outside vendors Ensure customs brokers receive the proper documentation to deliver material to/from different countries• Coordinate pick up and delivery of LTL outbound shipments from vendors, outside storage and Pilot locations• Provide input to accounting for billing of certain direct shipments, outside storage shipments and import direct shipments • Coordinate receipt and distribution of imported materials• Maintain international shipment file

Manage all day-to-day activities in a cross dock operationProvide leadership and accountability to team of drivers and dockworkersTraining of driver/dock personnel on process compliance and systems usageEnsure facility Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals are met and/or exceededResonsible for enforcing and fostering a safe work environment that is compliant with state and federal DOT guidelines.Ensure compliance with financial polices and procedures such as inventory accuracy and control,returns,damages.Understand the relationship between decision-making and profitability,closely manage employees working hours and activities to minimize overtime and to meet or exceed productivity targets.Understand the location-specific customer goals and objectivesManage costs,overheads and all factors affecting profitability performance.Contribute to company strategy and policy-making.IAC authorized representative
