I am a senior at Endicott College majoring in hospitality management with a focus in hotels and resorts. My strengths include being goal oriented, problem solving, and being enthusiastic towards learning. In the Fall of 2021 as well as the Spring of 2022, I worked at La Chanterelle on Endicott College's campus where I have developed my skills as a chef and server in this non-traditional French Bistro. In terms of hotel experience, I was fortunate enough to have a Summer Long Internship at the Delamar West Hartford which allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of guest service, and front office experience. In addition to my experience at the Delamar West Hartford, I was honored to be selected to be a front office intern during the Summer of 2023 for The Hartford Marriott Downtown. Working within this 409 room property, I was tasked with managing rooming inventory, ensuring guest needs were met, and increasing service satisfaction scores through systems such as Marriott GXP and PMS. Starting in the Summer of 2024, I will complete a rooms division focused co-op at The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island, an opportunity allowing me to gain luxury resort experience within a Forbes Triple-Five Diamond property. While engaged in rigorous coursework, I also participate in a variety of extracurricular activities such as being a trumpet player in Endicott's Pep Band as well as a tour guide for the office of undergraduate admission at Endicott College. I also participate as a peer advisor within Endicott's Sigma Beta Delta chapter. A business focused honors society for students who rank in the top 20% of their graduating class. Here I am able to mentor first and second year business students in classes such as business communications, organizational behavior, business fundamentals I and II. In addition to being a member of Sigma Beta Delta, I am a member of Eta Sigma Delta, an honors society focused on international hospitality management where students focused in hotel, food and beverage or event management collaborate and host events around Endicott's campus.
