• Support identification of potential needs requiring technical assistance from the District Coordination Teams.• Strengthen the capacity of District project staff and field staff from the relevant ministries to deliver quality multi-sectoral nutrition programming to targeted communities and households.• Representation of the Project at district fora’s such as District Development Coordinating Committee (DDCC), District Nutrition Coordinating Committee (DNCC) and any other relevant district meetings on Nutrition• Support line ministries in providing oversight and supportive supervision for community volunteer activities.• Correspond with the Donor (UN WFP) and give updates on activity implementation at District Level.• Oversee the planning and budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of field activities (Village Savings & Lending Associations & Post Harvest Management activities) in direct liaison with relevant government departments in the district.

• Encouraging increased diversification of various dietary needs, climate smart interventions appropriate to community needs within the scope of the project by acting as an advocate and change agent for best practices in climate smart agriculture and nutrition.• Identifying improved climate smart agriculture technologies & practices for small holder farmers and the distributions of drought tolerant crops to cope with drought and the restocking of drought resistant livestock to project beneficiaries.• Conduct regular monitoring of field activities on nutritional, dietary and good climate smart agriculture practices.• Supporting training programs for farmers including preparing budgets and requests for training and field activities.• Involved in selection, mobilizing, and targeting of communities.• Preparing progress, M & E reports and Donor reports and maintaining prescribed records and documents.• Documenting human interest / Success stories emanating from the project.• Maintaining efficient and effective relationships between CARE Zambia and its partners/stakeholders in the assigned community (ies) by providing effective networking.• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Supervisor

• Sourcing for clients of Rent to Own products such as Solar submersible pumps, Diesel & petrol water pumps, Gensets, Hammermills, Solar Fridges, Stoves, and other RTO products.• Selling and marketing various Rent to Own products to clients.• Signing up RTO clients in the Order form and Credit Application package.• Explaining the benefits of the RTO products to clients such as solar submersible pumps, D light solar home lighting system etc.• Explaining the RTO procedure to potential clients before they purchase any of the RTO products.• Coaching and supervising new agents to motivate and help them become better sales agents.• Report daily sales activities to the Sales Officer.• Organizing marketing shows in various locations in Kabwe to demonstrate and sale RTO products.• Attend weekly RTO Radio shows on various Radio stations in Kabwe to inform and educate would be clients about new products and general operations of RTO.
