After, 34 years as a middle school Special Education teacher in an urban school district and 24 years as an adjunct instructor at a local private college, I am fully prepared to pursue other areas of employment while retired. For a two year period in my early retirement, I worked for a local professional sports team and fully enjoyed the experience. All the while, since retirement, pursuing writing as a long term second career. With my first book, "Ruthie Deeply" , published June 2021 and the commencement of my second book "The King of Orchard Street", anticipated publication date June 1, 2024, I continue to advance my career as a professional novelist.Thus, I feel myself in a strong position to continue to work as a writer always with the possibility of further employment outside of writing.
